It’s unhealthy to keep hair oils and serums in your head for too long. It can cause hair loss and could collect dirt very easily. Try not to keep serums on your hair for more than 16 hours. When applying, you should avoid direct contact with your scalp. It can irritate the scalp, or make it oily. Some individuals experience odd acne growths on their scalps because they apply too much hair serum.

Mouse and other volumizing products

Whether your volumizing conditioner is leave-on or shampoo-off, the effect is also short term. Volumizing conditioners and products only make your hair appear plumper. They don’t actually promote hair growth. Some hair volumizing hair products may promise stronger hair, but in truth, the strength of your hair is dependent on the health of your scalp. This means that topical products can only work on the surface of your hair. You need to have healthy eating and sleeping habits to grow hair that’s naturally strong.
